    Rick Stone

    MANAGING DIRECTOR 

    Rick Stone is a highly experienced emergency manager and training specialist who has worked extensively in the private and public sectors.  Rick founded Tigertail Australia in 2010 as a consultancy that specialises in risk, crisis and emergency management.  Focusing on building capability and resilience, Rick has designed and delivered training and simulation activities at strategic, tactical and operational level across government and industry.   A qualified executive coach and helicopter pilot, Rick has a background in defence, as a senior public servant, and strategic consultant.

    Samantha Ford

    STRATEGY AND CLIENT SERVICES  

    Samantha Ford has national and international experience in planning for, and mitigating risks across, a broad range of industries. Samantha’s experience is founded in emergency, crisis and business continuity management with expertise in training and exercise development, crisis communications, planning and policy development.  Focusing on efficiency and building systems and plans that work, she is an advocate for determining and designing what works best for the client and the risks that they face.

    Craig Moroz

    SENIOR ASSOCIATE

    Craig Moroz joined Tigertail in 2018 to strengthen our financial services and protective security capability. With over 30 years’ experience in banking and financial services,  Craig brings extensive practical experience managing responses to weather disasters, human-created disasters, financial crime, technology disruptions, and product, supply chain and strategic partner failures.

    Jo Jordan OAM

    BUSINESS MANAGER

    Jo works with the team to provide facilitation support, data analysis, exercise logistics, event management, and executive support services. She is an internationally accredited coach and is proficient in mentoring, leadership and working with teams in diverse and high threat environments. Prior to joining Tigertail, Jo enjoyed a highly decorated career of over thirty years with the Royal Australian Navy, where she rose to the rank of Command Warrant Officer. Jo provides continuing support to her community as a Justice of the Peace and through the Legacy volunteer program.

    Jo holds a Graduate Certificate in Maritime Studies and is an accredited Level 1 Coach, Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (International Coach Federation).

    Nathan Smith

    SIMULATION SPECIALIST 

    Nathan leads Tigertail’s emergency simulation and incident management capability. He brings 24 years of proven expertise in emergency response, leadership, and safety risk management. As a former Superintendent with the Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting Service, Nathan is highly skilled in developing accredited training and facilitating advanced simulations.  

    He holds Masters degrees in both Emergency Management and Business Administration, combining extensive operational experience with strategic insight.
